New languages available
Thanks to our colleagues at the University of Edinburgh and Liverpool John Moores University, BOS can now offer Gaelic, Hungarian, Polish and Romanian as officially supported languages within BOS. This brings the total number of officially supported language (excluding English) to nine: French, Gaelic, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Spanish and Welsh.
If your account has the foreign language cost option enabled you can select the new translations from within the 'Options' for a particular survey. The translations work in an identical fashion to the other languages available within BOS. That is, the survey authors must provide the relevant translation of the question/answer text but the buttons and other messages displayed by BOS will be translated automatically into the language you select.
This functionality is only available on accounts that have purchased the foreign language cost option.
