I no longer need survey access control what happens to existing surveys if I do not renew the cost option?
Survey access control is an optional addition to your BOS licence. It may be that you choose to purchase this cost option for a specific survey that you only want to run once. As a result you may not need the cost option again when you next come to renew your licence. If you do not need the cost option and choose not to purchase it again then this has the following effects on your BOS account:
- You will not be able to see the respondent's credentials entered in to "Options" for any survey that previously used Survey access control.
- You will not be able to "List respondents" within the results area for the survey for any survey that previously used Survey Access Control.If you chose to store respondent's details then these will be visible in the results area as if the responses were answers to free text questions.
- Any surveys that are live and were using Survey access control will be made freely available (respondents can complete them without logging in).
Before removing any cost option for your account it is important to remember that cost options are applied on an account basis and not a user basis. It is therefore critical that you check that no other users are using that particular cost option for their surveys.
