I’ve given my log-in details to other people, how can I now stop them logging in?
Occasionally people give out their BOS log-in details so that colleagues can view survey results. This is not a good idea, it's much better to create new users within your account rather than give out your own log-in credentials.
If you have given out your log-in details it is possible to stop others using them:-
- Log in to BOS
- Select 'My Details' in the top menu.
- From the 'My Details' page you can change both your username and/or password. Once changed then only you will know the correct credentials.
- If you change your password please make sure it is completely different to the previous one - don't just add a 2 to the end, for example.
New users can be set up with their own credentials in the 'Account Users' area of BOS.
Please protect your BOS login details in the same way as you would protect other usernames and passwords.
