Title of survey: Exploring the social factors that contribute to positive identity formation for adults with one black parent and one white parent
Please complete this questionnaire if you regard yourself as having one black and one white parent. For the purposes of this study, 'race' is regarded as a social construction based on personal history and appearance.
Although the terms 'black', 'white' and 'mixed race' are contested, the term 'mixed race' will be used in this questionnaire to refer to a person who has one black parent and one white parent. You are asked to use these terms in ways that have meaning for you. There are no right or wrong answers to the questions in the questionnaire. Please reflect your own experience and your own opinions in your answers to the questions.
